Khepri Print
Khepri is the ancient Egyptian deity of the rising sun. Khepri or Khepera comes from the ancient word Kheper meaning to 'come into being'. Represented by the scarab beetle, Khepri is associated with beginnings, creation and the birth aspect of the cycle of regeneration. The Ancient Egyptians would bury the dead with a scarab beetle over their hearts to symbolise their rebirth into their new life.
