There is no mediator

No one is coming to save you. Not your parents with the need they couldn't provide you as a child. Not your ex with the apology you decided would make things feel resolved. Not your partner with the magic words that validate & affirm your experience of reality. Not your friends with the support you always show them but don't feel you receive. There is no mediator between man and God (a big part of why the church continues to crumble). 

You are your saviour. Life is a single-player game with 8 billion avatars running around who don't know the rules. I have hung on hopes that something outside of myself would come and be the catalyst for transforming my discomfort. I have invested in tools and courses and practices and ideologies I convinced myself were the missing link on my journey. Not to discredit them...as many of these pathways led me straight back to my heart, back to my personal power & truth. 

We live in a world where the average person is so disempowered we have glorified a one-size-fits-all solution. We seek a quick fix. The easiest path away from our pain. We put our trust in other human beings that we prop above ourselves. We are so lacking in our own supply that we place it in anything besides ourselves & then feel resentment when we do not receive it. A whole race of beings starving where there is a feast awaiting them at the table within. 

The truth is irritatingly simple. There is no fast-track, there is no trick and there is no way through this journey outside of your being. All is happening within. This post isn't about self-isolating or the path of the hermit. I'm not saying people don't need other people. I AM saying there is Divine Light WITHIN YOU and it has the solution to every problem you have ever had and will ever have.
